Obituary | Linda Davis, Piedmont reporter

The East Bay Times reported last week that former Piedmonter correspondent Linda Davis died suddenly on May 8. Davis was born in Alameda in 1943 and worked as a reporter for several local newspapers in the East Bay, including the Piedmonter, which was originally part of the Hills Newspaper Group, now owned by the Bay Area News Group.

Davis covered Piedmont civic life starting in 2006, according to her LinkedIn page. She wrote her final story just a few days before her death.

  1. I worked with Linda a few times over the years. She was the consummate reporter. Asking tough questions, but never losing her enthusiasm for her work. She was an enormous asset to our community and she will be truly missed.
