The Exedra bumped into Piedmonter Ryan Chinn taking his tortoises Alfie and Shelly out for snacking and walking at Dracena Park on a sunny June day. You may bump into Chinn and his hard-shelled friends out and about in any one of Piedmont’s parks this summer.
(Did you know that tortoises are turtles, but not all turtles are tortoises? The main difference between the two is that tortoises spend most of their time on land and turtles are adapted to water.)
