See what’s in the city’s FY2023-2024 budget

In a press release on Tuesday, May 9, the city said its proposed City of Piedmont FY2023-2024 budget is now available online for review. The City Council will consider the proposed budget at a work session on Thursday, May 18 and at public hearings at their regular meetings on Monday, June 5 and Tuesday, June 20.

The report, which you can read in full here, highlights several high priority objectives, including addressing building permit backlogs, compliance with Housing Element requirements, relocating the public safety dispatch center, and more.

The Council is expected to adopt the FY2023-2024 budget at the June 20 meeting. All budget documents can be downloaded from the City’s website at piedmont.ca.gov/budget.

The City invites community members to provide feedback on the proposed budget at any of three upcoming City Council meetings:

• City Council Budget Work Session
Thursday, May 18, 1 p.m.
City of Piedmont Emergency Operations Center, 403 Highland Avenue

• City Council Public Hearings
Monday, June 5 and Tuesday, June 20, 6 p.m.
Piedmont City Hall, 120 Vista Avenue
