Piedmont Community Service Crew hosts open house on April 27

An RTO/PCSC project from 2019

Piedmont Community Service Crew (PCSC) is hosting an open house on April 27 from 6-7 p.m. for the community (ages 11 and up) to meet us and learn about PCSC service opportunities.

The PCSC year ends on May 10, and we’re offering a membership special:

New members who register now for next year (through May 10, 2024) can also:

  • Participate in the current ongoing Rebuilding Together Oakland house renovation project that will continue through May
  • Attend the crew retreat over Memorial Day weekend
  • Sign up for the summer service trip to build tiny houses in Oregon at the end of June
  • Participate in weekly service activities this year such as cooking for the food insecure, building planter boxes at a senior living community, environmental work, cooking for low income seniors, and more

PCSC is much more than service: our crew is youth-run, and all members are encouraged to get leadership experience with adult mentoring so they gain real life skills in planning, communications, organizing, and managing others, plus recognition for their accomplishments.

If you and/or your student are interested in learning more, please sign up for the open house HERE. (Exact address in central Piedmont will be shared after you sign up.)
