Piedmont High School’s boys lacrosse team split a pair of nonleague matches, beating Amador Valley and losing to Acalanes.
The Highlanders beat Amador Valley 19-5 at Witter Field on April 15. Henry Brayer scored six goals and had an assist to lead Piedmont. Soren Dixon had five goals and two assists, while Jack Nelson contributed four goals and an assist.
Nathan Fredericks scored two goals with an assist, while Oliver Shafroth and Timmy Kalamas each scored a goal.
William Coultrip scored two goals for the Dons. Owen Heck, Brady Mac Isaac, and Jalen Alami also scored for Amador Valley.
On April 18, the Highlanders lost at home to Acalanes, 19-10. Nelson, Fredericks, Dixon, and Curtis Hohener each scored two goals for Piedmont. Shafroth and Rylan Nelson each scored once.
Owen Estee had an incredible 10 goals and four assists for Acalanes.
Piedmont is scheduled to play at Newark Memorial on April 21, and then playoff seedings will be determined.
