Author of READMONT book ‘No Stopping Us Now’ to lead book discussion this week

Please join READMONT, a community wide book discussion of No Stopping Us Now led by the author of the book, Lucy Jane Bledsoe, this Wednesday, April 26 at 7 p.m. in the Piedmont High School library.

Based on the author’s true story, it is a compelling examination of standing up for what is right. The book follows the story of Louisa who fought to bring her hometown into compliance with the new Title IX law so she could play basketball at her Oregon high school. It is a book about the love of sports, finding one’s own voice, and activism.
