The Piedmont East Bay Children’s Choir will host the 12th Golden Gate International Choral Festival from July 9 through July 15, 2023. Visiting and PEBCC choirs will join voices on opening day on July 10, with a free opening ceremonies concert at 5:30 p.m. in Golden Gate Park.
Since its founding in 1991, the Golden Gate Festival has attracted children’s and youth choirs from all over the world to perform and compete. Choirs will display the breadth of their ability in four competing categories. All competition performances, community spotlight concerts, and the Opening Day events are free to the public. The closing concert is a ticketed event on Saturday, July 15.
PEBCC welcomes our local businesses, community groups, and partners to engage in sponsorships, program advertising, and group volunteering opportunities for this week-long event reaching over 3,000 children, families, and audience members.
