Farewell (for now) to holiday tree lights in the park

This year’s lighting celebration was extra festive with the addition of twinkling lights all around the park to celebrate the holiday season. Sadly, all good things must come to end. On Thursday, members of Piedmont Beautification Foundation (PBF) and Piedmont Garden Club (PGC) assisted public works staff in removing the long strings of lights from the giant Redwood tree at Community Hall and packed them away for use again next year.

PBF maintains, installs, and removes the colorful LED lights each year. If you would like to donate to the Holiday Tree Lighting Fund or any of the other projects around town that PBF sponsors, please visit PBF website at www.piedmontbeautificationfoundation.org or use this QR code to make a donation.
