Who’s that Good Dog?

Mark Gross with Milo the pup on an ocean adventure.

Family: Roberta and Mark Gross

Pet: Milo

Age: 4

Breed: Chiweenie with maybe some Corgi

Adoption story: Milo was rescued by Rocket Dog Rescue from a shelter in the Central Valley where he was found on the street. We adopted him in November 2019, a year after our other sweet pup died, after seeing him on their website. We are so lucky to have him. He fills us with joy, happiness, and comfort.

Likes: Walks in Dracena and Piedmont Park and the cemetery, sleeping, eating, barking at squirrels, chewing on his squeaky toys and laying on our laps. Oh, and “Puppuchinos” [from the Starbucks secret menu].

Dislikes: The mail coming through the mail slot.

Interesting facts: Our son’s dog comes over occasionally and when we walk them together, Milo grabs Elvis’s leash and tries to control his hyperactivity. I have videos of this; it’s so funny. He loves when our daughter comes over and pays him extra attention.
