This is Piedmont’s first sheet mulched project in a public park where we removed excessive lawn and replaced it with native plantings, drip irrigation, and mulch.
This project was supported by the East Bay Municipal Utility District municipal rebate program, which helps fund projects that incorporate water conservation and drought tolerant plantings.
