It’s time to break out your rainboots, with wet weather forecast for Thursday and then again over the weekend. According to San Francisco Chronicle report, a cold front will also bring snow — as well as road closures and potentially avalanches — to the Tahoe area:
Meteorologists warn that conditions could become dangerous for motorists heading into the mountains, with low visibility on roads and a possibility of whiteouts late Wednesday and Thursday.
The Bay Area can also expect cold, frosty mornings, plus a 100 percent likelihood of downpours on Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
