Older adults interested in learning or improving their art skills are invited to join the free Fine Arts Media class offered by Piedmont Adult School. The class is held on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Veterans’ Memorial Building. (Remaining Fall 2022 dates: 11/17, 12/1, 12/8, 12/15)
In this class, students will gain skills designed to enhance personal and professional growth. Areas of study include composition, perspective, color, use of 9–value gray scale and texture.
This is a self–paced class geared to the student’s level of ability. Fine Arts Media is taught by Wendy Soneson. Before moving to the Bay Area, Soneson taught at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, where she was the John Singer Sargent artist in residence.
