Piedmont Police posted the following on their Facebook page on Monday afternoon:
At 12:26 p.m. today, dispatch received a call reporting a robbery that had just occurred in the 300 block of Bonita Ave. The female victim was walking on Bonita when she was approached by three masked males who grabbed her cell phone and purse. The suspects left the area in a newer model black sedan.
The victim was not injured and investigators are currently following up on leads in the case. If you are a resident in the 200/300 block of Bonita Avenue, we are interested in your video surveillance footage between the hours of 12:10 p.m. and 12:40 p.m.
