Stop by the Piedmont Beautification Foundation table at the Harvest Festival this weekend and pick up a free packet of native wildflower and California poppy seeds, and a get chance to win a large decoupage pumpkin.
PBF is partnering with the city for a safe, sustainable, and beautiful community. While most people know PBF as the organization that brings you the Piedmont Christmas tree lighting and ceremony, the foundation also works on many other projects throughout the city, thanks to those who have generously contributed to the foundation. PBF is also responsible for the memorial and honorary trees and benches around town.
At the Harvest Festival, display boards will highlight some of these projects. There will also be an educational display on oak conservation in support of the city’s efforts to increase natives and promote conservation.
Members will be on hand to answer any questions.
