Piedmont Adult School: Single-day classes in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and WordPress

Do you have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint, but want to learn how to use a specific feature? Or do you want a one-day lesson on how to create a website?

Piedmont Adult School offers a variety of Saturday workshops on these targeted topics. Classes include Microsoft Word: Styles and Outlines, Microsoft Excel: List Features & Pivot Tables, Microsoft Excel: Macros and VBAs, Microsoft PowerPoint: Plan & Design Your Presentation, and Creating a Website with WordPress.

Classes are taught by long-time Piedmont Adult School instructor Helen Nishikai. Helen has been teaching computer software programs to adult students and corporate clients for over 25 years and has worked in information technology, web development, and technical consulting.

She holds a California Teaching Credential in Adult Education for Computer Technology and Business Management. “I love helping people learn new skills that they can apply directly to their job or personal life,” says Helen.

All classes are held at Piedmont High School.
