Piedmont Police recovered a stolen car on June 28 and arrested a man who was sleeping inside the vehicle.
A PPD officer was alerted to a stolen vehicle at 9:13 a.m. in the area of Linda and Rose avenues, according to Piedmont Police Department Captain Chris Monahan. The vehicle was a silver 2007 Chevrolet Impala. The vehicle was found on Fairmont Avenue. The officer approached the vehicle to confirm the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
