On Thursday July 14 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. the Public Works Department will host a neighborhood meeting at the lawn area located at the northern end of Linda Park to discuss the renovation of the damaged area that is currently fenced and closed to the public. Staff will present a plan outlining the new turf area, the new plantings with native trees, shrubs and groundcovers and water conservation measures including the use of sheet mulching, compost and a new drip irrigation system. Neighbors and interested park users are invited to attend and join in conversation with city staff.
