Try (it) Out Mondays start next week

Julie Reichle

The first free Try (it) Out Tuesday last summer featured Track and Field and Ultimate Frisbee.

The Piedmont Recreation Department (PRD) is dedicated to promoting girls+ in sports and have created a program series that utilize sports as a way of engaging girls+*, developing their leadership skills, and boosting their self-esteem. Come down to Linda Beach Playfield and try out different sports each Monday evening. No matter their skill level, girls+ will have the opportunity to try various hands-on activities for each sport. Athletes can meet the coaches, ask questions and learn about opportunities within the community.

And you won’t have to worry about dinner as Street Meet Taco Truck will be selling dinner on-site … so come hungry!
