The City will be holding its first free compost giveaway of 2022 at the City’s Corporation Yard (898 Red Rock Road) on Saturday, Feb. 12 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Bring shovels, gloves, and containers to pick up compost. All households can pick up to one cubic-yard of compost while supplies last. While not required, it is strongly encouraged to fill out the form here to indicate your estimated pick up time. A City staff member will send you a confirmation email with your pickup time and instructions by 5 p.m. on Feb. 11.

Ditto what Leesy said. Easier than going to Ace garden center and free. And classic Piedmont – guy ahead of me had a load dumped into the back of his mint El Camino. Suggestion – get scouts to help load. Lot of older DIYers like me out there today.
