Around Town | Mulberry’s seeks new Hometown Hero

Mulberry's Market

Piedmont’s local gathering place Mulberry’s Market is looking to name a new sandwich after a local “Hometown Hero.” The market’s owners Chad Olcott and Laura Pochop started the tradition in 2007 to honor early supporters who helped them get the general store up and running.

To participate, you must be following @mulberrys_market on Instagram. Nominate your local hero and explain what they’ve done to make Piedmont a better community in the comments section of the Instagram posts.

If you make a nomination you’ll be put in a drawing for a $100 Mulberry’s gift card. The new Hometown Hero will be announced on March 4 and the contest winner will be selected and notified via DM on March 5.
