Ultimate frisbee is one of the fastest growing sports in the nation. Piedmont’s coed middle school ultimate team is in its sixth year and welcomes all Piedmont girls and boys to join for the spring season. Our 2021 after-school class was very well attended and received strong positive feedback. We have just announced the middle school team’s practice schedule (Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:15-6:15 p.m. at Havens/Becker field from Feb. 28 to May 6), so please look for it in the Piedmont Recreation Department catalog. We also hope to be playing in Bay Area Disc’s Middle School Spring league from March 13 to April 24 (five Sundays from 3-4:30 pm in Berkeley; March 27 and April 17 excluded ). There are also local tournaments with other middle school teams. This is a fun way to learn a new sport and meet new friends.
