December at Piedmont Center for the Arts

Saturday, December 11, 7 p.m. Indian Classical Music and Dance
Steve Oda, Sarode, Michael Lewis, Tabla, and Pushpa Oda, Tanpura, will perform a selection of North Indian classical music, followed by Kali Futnani presenting live solo classic Bharatanatyam dances.

Sunday, December 12, 4 p.m. Berkeley Symphony & Friends
The string quartet of violinists Nigel Armstrong and Emanuela Nikiforova, violins; Ivo Bokulic, on viola, and cellist Isaac Pastor-Chermak, will perform a concert of the music of Antonio Vivaldi, Jessie Montgomery, Brian Nabors, and Claude Debussy. Sunday, December 19, 2 p.m. In the Tradition Piano Trio
Pianist Bill Jackman, bass player Rich Trevor, and drummer Anthony Pegram perform as an old-school piano trio that keeps the tradition of classic jazz piano trios. Titled Music for the Holidays, the concert is a benefit for Piedmont Center for the Arts and will include jazz, Latin, swing, and ballads that will warm hearts for a wonderful holiday season. CDs of the Trio will be available to buy.

**SPECIAL NOTE: All events at Piedmont Center for the Arts will require photo ID and valid proof of vaccination for entry, as well as proper masking indoors**

Piedmont Center for the Arts is located at 801 Magnolia Avenue, across from Piedmont High School.

Tickets are $20 at the door, and $10 for students with high school or college identification.
