Pet: The General Augustus, aka “Gus”

Breed: Very mixed
Adoption story: We rescued him from Central Valley jail by way of Ozzie’s Pound Puppies. We were told Gus’s owner was arrested and that Gus was taken to the pound at that time. He was only 4 weeks old so he couldn’t stay there and ended up at the rescue.
Likes: Wrestling, jumping on the trampoline, and wearing sweaters.
Dislikes: Squirrels, cats, the mail coming through the door slot, and again — I can’t stress this enough — squirrels.
Interesting facts: He speaks with his ears like Baby Yoda.
Anything else? If you are a dog, Gus would love to meet you at the dog park.
Gus is an excellent dog and this is a great profile. However, I will note his likes/ dislikes seem very similar to that of his human owners.
