On November 30, 2021, people around the globe focus on giving back to their communities.
On Tuesday, November 30, Giving Campaign volunteers in purple attire will pop up at each school site in Piedmont for Giving Tuesday, an annual worldwide event celebrating generosity and giving. Each year, hundreds of millions of people from over 80 countries around the globe participate.
Giving Tuesday first launched in 2012 with a simple goal: To create a day that encourages people to do good however they can. Over the past nine years, the concept has spread, inspiring a global movement focused on building a world where generosity is part of everyday life. Giving Tuesday recognizes that each individual can drive systemic change through everyday acts of generosity in all its forms.
On this year’s Giving Tuesday, please consider supporting Piedmont’s students and schools with a gift to PEF’s Giving Campaign! There are many different ways to give, including:
- Corporate matching
- Payroll deduction programs
- Gifts of stock
- Donating via a Donor Advised Fund
In addition to credit card payments or one-time checks, PEF also offers installment options (monthly, weekly, and quarterly) for gifts via check. Donors can even add gifts to their automated bill pay! PEF’s online portal can be used to set up monthly credit card deductions. If your company offers charitable gift matching, please consider designating PEF for your match!
