Turkey Trot is back

The 2019 Turkey Trot 5K race kicks off.

The annual Thanksgiving day 5K run/walk/stroll Turkey Trot returns after a COVID hiatus. Register now to take advantage of early bird pricing through Oct. 29: $42 for ages 13 and older and $32 for 12 years and younger.

The race starts at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 25 at the Piedmont Exedra plaza located at Highland and Magnolia avenues. More than 1,800 runners and walkers of all ages participated in the 2019 event.

The Piedmont Turkey Trot is a nonprofit organization supporting local charities and organizations. Net proceeds benefit the PHS Cross Country and Track and Field Teams and the City of Piedmont’s Athletic Facilities Preservation Fund.
