Wednesday is “National Coffee with a Cop Day.” Piedmont Police Chief Jeremy Bowers and other department officers will be stationed at a pop-up tent in front of the Exedra plaza from 8:30 -10:00 a.m. on Oct. 6 with bagels and coffee — available to chat or answer all your police department questions.
According to the official Coffee with a Cop website, the first Wednesday in October is “a day dedicated to encourage communication and positive interactions between law enforcement agencies and the public.”
