Tracking COVID in Piedmont | Sept. 10

Three new cases were added to Piedmont’s COVID totals this week, bringing the number from 242 last week to 245 on Friday per the Alameda County Health Department.

The PUSD COVID dashboard, which is updated weekly, shows only two student and staff cases for the week of August 30. At a town hall meeting with the Alameda County Office of Education and the Alameda County Health Officer Nick Moss on September 9, Moss said case rates among children are decreasing. Piedmont also leads the county with the number of fully vaccinated 12-17 year-olds. (You can view the full discussion HERE.)
