Secondary bell schedule survey deadline is Monday at noon

The school district emailed families Thursday with a reminder to complete a survey intended to gauge community views on a new bell schedule for secondary students.

The district reminded families that survey must be completed no later than noon on Monday, Sept. 20.

From the email to parents:

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Senate Bill 328 requires California Public High Schools to begin school no earlier than 8:30AM beginning with the 2022-23 school year. To be better prepared for the 2022-23 school year,  Piedmont High School, Millennium High School and Piedmont Middle School will pilot a new bell schedule during the spring semester beginning in January 2022. We are gathering information to help us plan for the new schedules.
