PRD Movie in the Park tonight: Bee Movie

Meet Barry, a worker bee stuck in a dead-end job making honey, who sues humans when he learns they’ve been stealing bees’ nectar all along (Netflix)

(UPDATE: Piedmont Recreation Department Director Eva Phalen posted on Facebook on Friday afternoon that the food truck advertised earlier had to cancel at the last minute but that Mr. Dewie’s Cashew Creamery & Frozen Desserts will still be selling their ice cream and Piedmont Girl Scout Troop 33587 will be selling lemonade and concessions during the movie.)

What’s the buzz?

To help kick off this weekend’s Harvest Festival, the Piedmont Recreation Department invites families and friends to enjoy the animated “Bee Movie” in Piedmont Park on a new 26′ screen!
