Car enthusiasts of all ages stopped by Piedmont Park on Monday, Sept. 6 to check out vintage, exotic, and rare cars at the Piedmont Police Department’s annual Coffee and Cars event. While the cars were the main event, the police department was on hand with coffee and donuts and the fire department gave kids a close up look at one of its engines.

The Piedmont Police Department and Officer Tyler Petit are to be congratulated on a fantastic and fun event. The community spirit present was reminiscent of our pre-Covid Fourth of July Parades. I am hopeful that this event will be continued.
