Noted | Two with Piedmont ties pen NYT op-eds on same day

It’s not unusual for Piedmont residents to show up in the pages of national newspapers, but it is notable when the New York Times features opinion pieces by two with local ties on the same day: Kelly Corrigan, former resident and acclaimed author and host of the PBS program “Tell Me More,” and Maya Guzdar, Stanford senior and PHS grad (’18), were each featured in the online paper this Sunday. (Corrigan’s also ran in the print edition on Monday and Guzdar’s was featured in Tuesday’s print version.)

Another unusual coincidence: Corrigan was the graduation speaker at Guzdar’s high school graduation in 2018.
