It seems almost inconceivable that the San Francisco Symphony last opened the doors to a new season of its popular Film Series more than two years ago.

After a COVID-related hiatus, a new season opens Wednesday with a screening of the iconic fairytale adventure “The Princess Bridge,” accompanied by the symphony and conductor Sarah Hicks.

Subsequent films in the series, which runs through summer 2022, include “Home Alone,” “Back to the Future,” and “The Matrix.”

Tickets are available at the San Francisco Symphony website HERE. From the Symphony:

Davies Symphony Hall is located at 201 Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco. Tickets for concerts at Davies Symphony can be purchased via sfsymphony.org or by calling the San Francisco Symphony Box Office at 415-864-6000. Tickets prices range from $25 to $199.
