PRD is excited for the return of the Piedmont Harvest Festival, now in its 23rd year. This year’s Harvest Festival will feature all the fun events and activities you’ve come to expect, with a few new twists as we adapt to the new normal. The PEF Carnival is back and in full swing; the main stage will be jumping with the Jazz Festival; the food trucks will be fired up alongside the Village Market farmer’s market as usual; and returning as the heart of the event will be the Piedmont Edibles Contest!
- Jazz Festival: The Harvest Festival stage will open with an acoustic version of the National Anthem at 11:00 am.
- Stage Lineup:
- 12:00–1:00 pm: Piedmont Jazz Orchestra
- 1:00–2:00 pm: Bob Roden
- 2:00–3:00 pm: Albany Jazz Band
- 3:00–4:00 pm: Fleser

Scarecrow Alley
The theme for the Scarecrow Alley silent auction at the festival is “Fantastic Creatures in Animation.” Bid on your favorite at the event! If you would like more information about the Scarecrow Silent Auction, please email Amber Brumfiel.
Art Show
A wonderful part of the Harvest Festival is the display of local artists around the Tea House. We are now accepting applications. If you live in Piedmont and would like to submit your art for consideration, please contact Jane Reed (510) 654-2670 for additional information.
Farmer’s Market & Local Garden Sharing Table
Village Market will host its annual Farmer’s Market at the Harvest Festival up near Exedra Plaza. Participate in the Local Garden Sharing table by bringing your extra bounty to the event and sharing with others!
Edibles Contest
Featuring the best home grown and homemade foods from Piedmont, the Edibles Contest is your chance to show off your culinary prowess. Click to fill out the online Edibles Contest Entry Form and for more information about the contest rules and categories.
Please note: due to the pandemic this year we will NOT offer tastings to the general community.
Only judges will taste items submitted to the contest, so please adjust the portion size of entries accordingly—less is more! So dust off those recipe cards, roll out the dough, and get ready for some fun at this year’s Harvest Festival! If you would like a PDF of the Entry Form click here.
