Piedmont High School senior Jojo Murphy will participate in a 3-point shooting contest as part of an all-day event at Modesto Christian High School on August 21.
The event features players from all over Northern California in a series of games with teams broken into various regions. The event begins at 12 noon and costs $10.
Murphy will face Campolindo star Aidan Mahaney in the 3-point contest. Others scheduled to participate are Marquis Greene of Central-Fresno, B.J. Davis of Modesto Christian, and Connor Amundson of Clovis North. Participants are subject to change.
There will also be a dunk contest.
Murphy will play for the Bay Area team. Other teams are Stockton, Sacramento, and Central. The teams will face off in games at 12 noon and 1 p.m., with the winners playing each other at 4 p.m.
