Adoption Story: We adopted Oliver from Golden Gate Lab Rescue when he was just 10 weeks old and weighed 8 lbs. He is now 85 lbs!
Likes: Oliver is obsessed with butter and will run into the kitchen whenever the butter dish is opened. He was recently caught red-pawed licking the uncovered butter on the kitchen counter! He loves the corner seat on the couch and snuggling with his family in the evening watching his favorite show. Oliver’s favorite game is being chased by other dogs at Point Isabel or Carmel Beach. Thankfully he is very treat motivated.
Dislikes: Oliver hates skateboards and scooters, especially on a bumpy noisy road. Despite being a lab mix Oliver will not swim, even for treats. He also believes that dogs shouldn’t eat fruits or vegetables.
Interesting Facts: Whenever we leave the beach Oliver has to find a piece of seaweed to bury. He buries it very gently as if it’s very precious. Oliver is very friendly but sometimes startles people when he jumps up to lick them on the cheek. If he is unhappy or feels left out he will start howling.
