Tracking Piedmont’s housing policies? The city is moving forward on a number of fronts. From the city:
On June 21 the City Council will consider two housing items: adoption of Guiding Principles for implementing new state-mandated ADU programs and objective design standards for the construction of apartment buildings; and a second item about a possible appeal of the Regional Housing Needs Allocation (RHNA) assigned to Piedmont. The draft RHNA assigns 587 new homes and apartments by year 2031. The agenda and instructions for participating in the virtual Zoom meeting will be posted no later than June 17 at:

In case you missed it:
Piedmont’s Housing Advisory Committee met June 15 at 5 p.m. ADUs were on the agenda and the city was to have presented an analysis of Piedmonters’ ideas, design preferences, and understanding of new housing laws, as well as outlines for new ADU programs and new objective design standards for apartment buildings. (The Exedra will report on the meeting later this week.)
The City Council and Housing Advisory Committee meetings will be televised live on KCOM-TV, the City’s government TV station, and will be available through streaming video on the City’s web site HERE: https://piedmont.ca.gov/services___departments/kcom-tv/live_content_and_video_archive
