Adoption Story: We were looking for a German shepherd earlier in the spring this year in California but they were oversubscribed. The breeder reached out to her contacts in Germany and found a litter born in May — we were able to get her in July.
Likes: Running, playing ball, playing chase, and hide and seek with the kids.
Dislikes: Wrestling with other dogs and being constrained in her territory for too long.
Interesting Facts: She loves to lick faces and give the kids kisses. She also loves to play soccer with the boys. She’ll even shoulder in to get the ball.
Anything else we should know? This is my first dog and I’m realizing that it’s extremely fun to train her because she’s so bright and picks up everything immediately. It’s helped me become a better parent, too, in a short period of time because I have to be extremely consistent. She’s super happy and a real family dog. She’s a social butterfly and it’s been a lot of fun.
