Water main break on Seaview

Multiple trucks and workers are on site

Homeowners on Seaview heard a disturbance around 12 a.m. Thursday night that turned out to be a water main break requiring a response from both EBMUD and PGE. When EBMUD crews arrived around 2 a.m., they found a break about 13’ long, and a gas main in the way of repairs.

EBMUD closed La Salle between Indian and Crocker while they put in 16 – 17’ feet of pipe and a new gate valve, according to Kyle Carlisle of EBMUD. He added that local affected residents “were really patient”.
