According to the most recent update from the Alameda County Office of Public Health on Jan. 22, total coronavirus cases in Piedmont as of today stood at 153, up from 149 on Jan. 19.
On Friday the San Francisco Chronicle reported that: “Bay Area ICU availability slips slightly to 6.6%: Intensive care hospitalizations, a critical indicator in assessing regional stay-at-home orders, remained at 0.0% for the state on Friday, the latest state data showed. The Bay Area region’s ICU availability was at 6.6%, down from 7.4% on Tuesday. The Greater Sacramento region held at 9%, while San Joaquin County and Southern California regions remained at 0%. The statewide positivity rate over a 7-day average is 15.2%.”
