Letter to the Editor | Dialogue and compromise the way forward for Arts center

The Piedmont Center for the Arts is a Piedmont treasure. The Center’s programs have enriched the lives of thousands of Piedmont residents for nine years. I have attended countless concerts, art openings, lectures, movies, plays – and am consistently amazed at the scope of events offered and am so proud how the programs enrich the lives of young and old in our town.

Time has come to work together and find dialogue and compromise to maintain this jewel of Piedmont. Do not let the divided times of this country spill over into the management of this town! Civil dialogue and compromise are the key words of 2021. Do not let the arts slip out of our town. Piedmont needs the Piedmont Center for the Arts.

I urge the City Council to renew the lease of the PCA.
