According to the most recent update from the Alameda County Office of Public Health on Dec. 15, total coronavirus cases in Piedmont as of today stood at 80, up from 75 on Dec. 11. Recorded cases of COVID-19 in Piedmont have increased by 23 in the last month.
The increase reflects the upward trend of cases across the state, even as the first vaccines were rolled out on Monday for frontline healthcare workers.
