Piedmont is updating the city’s 2014 Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan and has extended the goal for a public survey to Jan. 3.

The update project, dubbed Piedmont Safer Streets, seeks to add traffic safety to the plan.

Discussion at a Dec. 9 workshop included existing traffic, traffic-calming measures, on-street parking, non-construction related activities, improvements at key intersections and bicycle infrastructure installed to date.

The survey is online at bit.ly/PSS_survey.

A Piedmont map to comment and “pin” areas for further study is at bit.ly/PSS_map.
