Adopt a family
‘More Than Just Me’ is a high school student run organization that connects individuals, groups, and businesses with families dealing with a medical crisis identified by Children’s Hospital Oakland social workers. The hardworking social workers do not have adequate resources to provide more than immediate needs for families, many of whom are in dire situations — even more so this year due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. By recruiting generous business, groups and family donors, we provide holiday gifts and necessities to over 40 families each December.

This year, we will be accepting donations through gift cards to decrease contact due to the pandemic. Your contribution will make the holidays a little brighter for families who are going through an extremely difficult time.
