PEF’s Giving Campaign encourages participation with $200,000 Giving Challenge Match

It is essential that every family participates in the Giving Campaign in order to preserve our small class sizes, our elective and AP choices, our music and art programs, our librarians, our counselors, our class aides and other specialists. Our goal is 100% parent participation. It doesn’t matter what you give, it matters that you give.

Giving Campaign funds will be granted to Piedmont schools to help meet the needs of the 2021-22 school year. For next year, the difference between what our schools receive from state and local taxes, and what it costs to educate our kids is $1,930 per student.  We hope that every single family at PUSD will participate in the Giving Campaign in some way – your contribution of any size shows support for and commitment to our schools and community; we can build stronger schools together.

With The Giving Challenge, now through October 19, the PEF Board will match, dollar for dollar, all new gifts up to a total of $200,000.

  1. Where can I find the 2021-2022 budget breakdown? Last year the information was linked to the ask amount and projected student population.
