Small children (and their parents) rejoiced when the Piedmont Recreation Department launched its outdoor preschool program this week. The children each had individual baskets of play items and wore masks as much as possible.
“Our amazing team is excited to allow our children the opportunity to explore and create outdoors,” said Erin Rivera, PRD’s recreation supervisor. “Outdoor play is essential to children’s development and being able to offer them this, given COVID, feels really good!”
