The challenges of 2020 have not deterred Piedmont Education Foundation (PEF) volunteers from getting ready to kick off this fall’s Giving Campaign!
On Tuesday, September 15, the new Giving Campaign Committee, made up of more than 60 parents and community members, gathered virtually to hear the latest school funding numbers and prepare for the vital fundraising effort ahead.
The 2020-2021 Co-Chairs Colleen Allan, Amelie Kappes, and Teebie Saunders, as well as PEF Executive Director Heather Frank, explained the importance of this year’s $3 million goal and $1,930 per student need.
“So much in the world feels uncertain, but we all want the best for our kids and for Piedmont,” said Kappes. “It is in our interest to support our vibrant public schools.”
