The only public item on the August 5 agenda is a presentation by PUSD administrators on the district’s distance learning plan. The meeting starts at 5 p.m. You can find the Zoom link in the agenda HERE.

According to the memo from Superintendent Randall Booker to the Board, he, along with Assistant Superintendent Dr. Cheryl Wozniak, Director of Instructional Technology and Secondary Instruction Stephanie Griffin, Director of Special Education and Student Services Hillary Crissinger, and Chief Financial Officer Ruth Alahydoian will each discuss components of the plan.

Daily instructional bell schedules were voted on and approved at last week’s Board of Education meeting, setting the parameters for a combination of synchronous and asynchronous learning, as well as cohorting in the event the public health picture improves and students can return in some way to the classroom.
