Wellness Center serves as a lifeline in tough times

Amidst the stresses of our current events, supporting students’ social and emotional well-being is more important than ever. The Piedmont Unified Wellness Center has served as a lifeline in this regard for more than ten years. During this past school year alone, the Wellness Center provided over 2,500 free and confidential counseling sessions for PMS, MHS, and PHS students on topics ranging from academic pressure and peer relationships, to anxiety and depression.

We are grateful to Clinical Chair Alisa Crovetti and her staff for their tremendous work to help our students navigate the challenges of adolescence, and also to generous community members who contribute to fundraisers like the Piedmont Education Foundation‘s annual Giving Campaign and the FallFest which help to make this vital service possible. The Wellness Center is one more reason why Piedmont schools are exceptional. #PiedmontProud
