Shopping for bargains? Dress Best for Less is open

Dress Best for Less (DBFL), the nonprofit “recycled style” store that donates money to Piedmont schools every year, is (mostly) back in business.

Although you still can’t drop off donations in town at the Marking Room, the storefront on Piedmont Ave. (next to Piedmont Grocery) is open with limited hours and its online store is fully operational. The store hours are Tuesday – Saturday from 11 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. A quick survey of the online store shows many new items (with tags still on) and other practically new clothing selections.

The organization hopes to have a plan for accepting donations again in place soon. DBFL accepts high quality items with no rips or stains. Designer apparel and home goods also sell well, according to DBFL.
