Adoption story: We wanted a black Lab (like our last dog, Jeter, who passed away at age 14) so we went to visit a breeder in Sebastopol. Dash was only a week old, so he didn’t even have his eyes open yet. He was really tiny. We had planned to do some traveling, including to Adam’s water polo matches, so we came back when he was 14 weeks and brought him home. Graham cradled him in his arms all the way home.
Likes: Beaches, playing in his wading pool, trying to catch bees, and playing with our cat, Emmy, 8. Usually their play starts off peacefully before ramping up to too much puppy energy for Emmy.
Dislikes: Motorcycles and other loud things.
Interesting facts: When Adam is sitting on the couch, Dash can spring all the way up onto his shoulders. He can also shake hands and roll over.
Anything else we should know? Most Labs are super friendly and all over you. Dash is an observer. He wants to get to know you better first.
